Unimarket implements new online catalog solution for the NSW Department of Education

The new system is being used by more than 2,000 primary and secondary schools in New South Wales, Australia.

School administration staff, and the department’s corporate staff, can buy with confidence, knowing that they are using the Department’s approved suppliers. Everything purchased through the online catalog aligns with the pricing and contract terms negotiated by the NSW Department of Education with its preferred suppliers.

The Unimarket solution provides automated on-account ordering and invoice matching that streamlines payments to suppliers through an integration with the Department of Education’s SAP enterprise planning solution. Alternatively, users can opt to pay suppliers instantly, using an integrated payment gateway that facilitates p-card payments. This ability to make immediate payments reduces administrative overheads and makes the purchasing process much more efficient.
