Garth Biggs
BCom, MBA - Chairman of Unimarket

Garth is the former CEO of New Zealand's largest privately-owned ICT Services Company and previously CIO for a number of major New Zealands corporates. Garth is now a professional director, a high-level ICT consultant and a mentor to young companies. He has had wide experience across a range of industries, from startup, through trade sales and in mature companies and has advised industry and educational bodies and central government.
Scott Blackwood
Founder and Global Chief Executive Officer of Unimarket

Scott has a breadth of experience with large scale change management and technology initiatives with a passion for Business to Business collaborative e-procurement. Before Unimarket, Scott was an independent management consultant and prior to this was a Senior Manager at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young LLC in the US and Europe with engagements at companies such as NEC, US Home Products and Novartis. Scott is an expert on procure-to-pay and supply chain leading practices and related information systems. Unimarket was initially conceptualized while completing his Executive MBA at the University of Pittsburgh in 2002.
Christopher McCleary
Non-Executive Director

Chris is the founder of the company that pioneered the software-as-a-service business model - USinternetworking, Incorporated. In addition to providing Ariba procurement functionality as a web enabled service, USinternetworking was the first to provide Siebel, PeopleSoft, Microsoft, Oracle Broadvision, and Lawson functionality as a network enabled service to enterprise customers.

Currently Chris is a venture partner with an early stage venture capital firm, Blue Chip Venture Company and is on the board of Hosting.com, JackBe Incorporated and Apollo Incorporated and has been an executive of five early stage technology companies. Chris has served as a director of several other technology companies and prosecuted successful IPOs and private equity financings.

Chris holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Kentucky and was the recipient of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for software services.
Stuart Alexander
Non-Executive Director

Stuart is the former Head of Sales for Gen-i Australia and General Manager of Procurement at Gen-i NZ prior to this. Stuart has 20 years experience in ICT sales and marketing in Australasia. This, and his background in procurement, gives him good depth of experience in assisting Unimarket’s go-to-market model. Stuart has mentored a number of successful start up companies within the Icehouse.
John Dell
Non-Executive Director

John is a director of a number of private companies and is an active investor in high growth businesses. John has significant experience in executive finance and strategic management having previously held executive positions as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of various large companies in the manufacturing and air transportation sectors. Prior to his company roles, John worked for international accountancy and consultancy firm KPMG. John's background is as a qualified accountant and he has a bachelor's degree in accountancy and finance.
Peter Kane
Non-Executive Director


Peter was a partner with KPMG for ten years, including five years leading the Management Consulting practice which specialized in information technology and business improvement consulting. He subsequently was a Senior Vice President with BearingPoint with responsibility for South Asia Pacific. In the past several years, Peter has performed executive contract roles including CFO for a public listed company in the primary sector, COO for a large telecommunications company and CEO for an IT Services business. He is an investor and director of two privately owned companies and continues to undertake management consulting assignments in areas of business improvement, change management and operational strategy and senior executive mentoring.
